AKC Updates Rules for Basset Hound Field Trials: Colored Collars instead of Painted Numbers

The BHCA received the following update from AKC:

This is to inform your club of a change to the Field Trial Rules and Standard Procedures for Basset Hounds which is effective immediately. This change allows dogs running in Small Pack and Large Pack to wear different colored collars instead of having a painted number.

This specific change is underlined and will be reflected in the next reprinting of the Field Trial Rules and Standard Procedures for Basset Hounds.
