This year's Member Education Workshop will be presented on Wednesday, October 15th, after judging.

Mariano Galan, of Morning Dew Sweepers Kennel in Spain will present The Basset Breeds: Uncovering the secrets of the Bassets, the voice of the forest and the meadows. This seminar will cover other "Basset" breeds not often seen in the US such as the Basset Bleu de Gascogne and the Basset Artesien Normand, as well as PBGV, GBGV, and Basset Fauve de Bretagne - which will join the AKC Hound group on January 1, 2026.

Please pre-register (it's FREE!) so that the Member Education Committee can have an estimate of the materials needed for this seminar.
