The Basset Hound Club of America Foundation (BHCAF) funds activities that promote and assist the development, publication, and dissemination of educational materials about the proper care, treatment, breeding, health, development and training of Basset Hounds. These activities include classes, seminars and making printed educational materials available.
BHCAF also works with AKC Reunite funding Grants for Pet Disaster Relief by co-sponsoring two Pet Relief Trailers as part of local Emergency Management Teams. In addition we have supported relief for specific disasters through AKC Reunite such as Hurricane Helene and West Coast wild fires. For more info on AKC Reunite go to www.akcreunite.org
